Blaise J. Noto

Blaise J. Noto is President of Hawai'i-based Blaise Noto & Associates LLC, an entertainment marketing, publicity and special events company specializing in the design and execution of strategies and campaigns for all forms of entertainment, including motion pictures, television, theater, music, performances, clubs, restaurants and retail as well as representing artists and performers for management and personal public relations.

Before moving to Hawai'i, he worked for over 28 years in entertainment, his most recent positions being Executive Vice President of Worldwide Publicity & Promotion for Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures. He also held key marketing positions at other Hollywood studios including Warner Bros., United Artists, Orion Pictures, Vestron and for producer Dino DeLaurentiis.

He has worked with many of Hollywood's most successful producers, directors and actors including Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Jack Nicholson, Julia Roberts, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Clint Eastwood, Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy, Nicole Kidman, Paul Newman, Sean Connery, Jodie Foster, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Michael Douglas, Will Smith, Richard Gere, Madonna, Bette Midler, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Woody Allen, and Martin Scorsese.

Blaise is a four-time recipient of the Publicist Guild of America's Outstanding Achievement in a Motion Picture Publicity Campaign for "Spider-Man," "Titanic," "Braveheart," and "Forrest Gump." He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, and the Publicists Guild of America.

In addition, he designed and implemented the Academy Awards campaigns for the Oscar-winning Best Pictures "Titanic," "Braveheart" and "Forrest Gump," and was instrumental in the marketing campaigns for a diverse range of films: "The Passion of the Christ," "Spider-Man," "Mission: Impossible," five "Star Trek" films, "Men in Black II," "Grease," "Terminator," Charlie's Angels," Nickelodeon's Films "The Rugrats Movie," "Wayne's World," "Rocky," "Blue Velvet," The Godfather Part III," "Sleepy Hollow," "Patriot Games," "Amadeus," "Chariots of Fire," "Annie Hall," "Dirty Dancing," and MTV Films and Nickelodeon Movies among many others.

Blaise, who is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences and the Hawai'i Academy of Recording Arts, also worked on numerous movie soundtracks and singles including the Oscar-winning "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from "Dirty Dancing;" "I Just Called to Say I Love You" by Stevie Wonder from "The Woman in Red," and "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic, among many others.
