John Tabacco
Director of Music Acquisitions

John Tabacco is a composer, singer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist and graphic artist. John's business ventures include co-founding Sonic Underground Studio, heading "It Iz What It Iz" Music Publishing and launching Sound Archeology, specializing in analog-to-digital conversion technology. He has engineered, mixed and mastered music for hundreds of recording artists as well as projects released on such major labels as BMG, RCA, Rampage/Rhino, Columbia, and Rykodisc.

As an artist John has most recently fronted a band with Nigey Lennon and Candy Zappa at the famed Zappanale in Bad Dobern, East Germany. John also sang lead vocals from 2000-2003 with the Ed Palermo Big Band.

2003 saw Tabacco arranging music for Sony mega-producer Corey Rooney and his brother Jeff for projects involving Toni Braxton and her sister Tamar.
