Mel Glazer teaches songwriting, lyric writing, advanced songwriting and related courses at Queens and Nassau Community colleges.

Songs that Mel Glazer co-wrote have been recorded by industry luminaries including Etta James, Robert Plant, and Elvis Presley. Additionally, Mel has collaborated with Carole King, Sammy Fain, Aaron Schroeder, Arthur Seagal, and Bernie Baum, among others. His body of work is represented on all the major media including movies, television, off-Broadway and the cabaret circuit.

Mel has joined the Guru Project to co-host a series of lectures.
